One of the frequent questions I get is “What is Gen AI and how does it work?” so, Let’s Unpack!
Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that can create new content—like text, images, or even music—based on patterns it’s learned from existing data. Gen AI uses an LLM (Large Language Model) that is trained on vast sets of data – think about all of the information and content on the internet, and it can generate brand-new content that fits your exact needs, question,s and preferences. The magic happens as the LLM uses a neural network to make predictions about what word comes next, based on the context you provide in your chat. Then, as you chat (prompt) with an Agent (virtual Gen AI assistant), the answers are created based on the information available and the context of your query.
In partnering ecosystems, this could mean personalized content creation for partner communications, or even generating proposals or sales decks tailored to specific partner needs.
Example: Imagine a vendor’s Gen AI tool automatically generates personalized partner proposals, pulling in relevant data on previous deals and partner preferences. It saves time, reduces human error, and improves the personalization of partner interactions.
