AchieveUnite Announces 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients

Celebrating those who push the limits of what’s possible in the IT Industry

 

Alexandria, VA (December 18, 2020)  AchieveUnite, the premier partnering education and consulting company for the IT and Telecom industry, has selected two recipients for their inaugural AchieveUnite Lifetime Achievement Award.

AchieveUnite is proud to present their first Lifetime Achievement Awards to industry leaders Ron Rohner and Bob O’Malley. This award recognizes the remarkable accomplishments of these recipients and all they have done to make a positive and lasting impact on the community and environment of the Channel.

Ron Rohner, who some refer to as the Godfather of Channel, is a true professional, and one of the early scholars and thought leaders in the channel.  He coined many terms that people now use as industry standard – including the partner business proposition.  Ron is known for his extraordinary selflessness, low ego, and true respect for industry colleagues and the facts. He built Rohner & Associates as a top channel consulting firm of industry professionals, and a company where thought leaders could work, then return to corporate roles smarter than before. Ron reads everything and is a voracious researcher, as well as financial and industry analyst. Ron is extraordinarily generous with his knowledge, time, and his investment in CEOs, CROs, and Channel Chiefs. He has built a loyal team of deeply knowledgeable experts around him as well.

Robert (Bob) O’Malley is considered by many to be one of the most forward-thinking channel thought leaders in our industry. He has consistently succeeded in his career through groundbreaking innovations and ideas in the channel and in the tech industry. Bob O’Malley has lead manufacturers, developers, distributors and integrators as CEO at Immersion, Pinacor and SED, and as President of Intermec Technologies and MicroAge, as well as General Manager and other senior executive positions. He specializes in the development of IT-oriented channels of sales, support and distribution.
